About VORA

Many Veterans suffer from invisible war related illness and injuries (invisible wounds of war) such as Post Traumatic Stress (PTS), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and Toxic Exposures. Because these injuries are not overt, Veterans may feel selfish asking for help. This can lead to self-isolation, feelings of guilt, and feeling as if they do not deserve the help.

VORA’s programs are designed to reduce isolation, assist with guidance for professional modalities, and provide a mission-driven environment where veterans can reconnect—with themselves, with others, and with a renewed sense of self.

Veterans and Service Members who suffer with invisible wounds of war often have symptoms of depression, anxiety, fear, and hyper-vigilance (always on guard). They may not have the confidence they once had which can often lead to self-doubt and even suicide.

Veterans Off-Road Adventures leverages the therapeutic benefits of the outdoors, teamwork, and technical vehicle-based challenges to help Veterans build resilience, restore purpose, and strengthen community bonds
