Intro to Offroad Driving class: Designed for the novice Four-Wheel Drive and All Wheel Drive vehicle owner, who is interested in getting out there. Topics covered will include an overview of how multi-wheel drive systems operate. We will discuss driving terrain, approach angle, safe vehicle operation and ground guiding techniques. Also included an introduction to vehicle recovery equipment and how to safely employ it.
Field Repair class: The trail is unforgiving, and AAA doesn’t deliver to the middle of the wilderness. This hands-on course is designed for Jeep, Bronco, and 4×4 owners who want the skills to get home under their own power. Learn the “trail-side triage” necessary to keep moving, from resetting tire beads and swapping valve stems to MacGyver-ing broken brake lines and radiator hoses. If it breaks in the dirt, we’ll show you how to fix it “good enough” to reach the trailhead.
Each class lasts for 2 hours and is held at Total Offroad & More in Virginia Beach – 3232 Virginia Beach Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA 23452. Itinerary: Intro to Offroad Driving Class from 9-11AM. Break for lunch (which is included) and Field Repair Class from 1-3PM.
