Class : Intro to Off-Road Driving

Learn from the best!  Matt and his off-road teaching company, Vertragus, are some of the best in the industry to learn from – Matt has more than a decade of experience teaching special forces from around the world how to drive off-road effectively & safely.  When our team at Where2Wheel learned that Matt was local to our homebase of Hampton Roads, we knew that his teaching services could be highly valuable to us recreational off-roaders as well.

This course is designed for the novice Four-Wheel Drive and All Wheel Drive vehicle owner, who is interested in getting out there.  Topics covered will include an overview of how multi-wheel drive systems operate.  We will discuss driving terrain, approach angle, safe vehicle operation and ground guiding techniques.  Also included an introduction to vehicle recovery equipment and how to safely employ it.

Class lasts for 2 hours.  Afterwards, Matt will hold an optional parking lot learning where you can get “hands-on” with equipment & gear.  This class is held at Total Offroad & More in Virginia Beach – 3232 Virginia Beach Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA 23452.

In addition to learning, these classes also provide a great opportunity to connect with other local offroaders & meet the crew (our friends) at Total Offroad & More, which is one of Where2Wheel’s favorite off-road shop in the 757.
