Recovery Class IRL
Join us at one of our off-road locations in Suffolk, VA for an in-the-field recovery class. We will gather round while a volunteer or W2WParks staff drive their vehicle into a mud pit that it will surely get stuck in. Once stuck we will talk thru the recovery as we work the situation and get the vehicle free. We will do this twice to highlight two different recovery techniques: a snatch (kinetic rope) recovery & a winch recovery.
Along with talking through the recovery we will also talk about all the factors that go into performing a SAFE & EFFECTIVE recovery.
Event starts at noon and involves walking & standing for approx 90 minutes.
You will receive the event location address in the emailed ticket after your purchase. To plan your trip timewise please use Birdsong Peanuts at 311 Factory Street, Suffolk, VA as your destination. Both our properties are within a 5 to 10 minute drive.
Tickets are per person. No children under 12.
